The Wavelength

The Wavelength is a consortium of some of Charlottesville's finest musicians. Led by vocalist/harmonica Waverly Milor, they perform vintage rock, blues, originals and more. The Wavelength is professional, passionate and is known for highly engaging shows!

A constant in all Wavelength performances is our "Musical Director", guitarist/vocalist, Larry Bisgaier. His fluid, dynamic guitar work and improvisational skills are a huge reason The Wavelength's live shows are so engaging.  Bassist Andre LaVelle (The Hard Modes) provides the bottom end and his own unique improv style on both upright and electric bass.

The rhythm section on any given night may include David Drubin (The Diamonds) or Danny Barrale (Cherry Red) on drums. Legendary Charlottesville based Steve Riggs (Cherry Red) joins on electric bass; usually with Danny on drums. John Stubblefield (drums) and Andy Burdetsky (bass) of local favorite "Jon Spear Band" gives The Wavelength an authentic blues sound. Accomplished jazz bassist Bob Bowen is also an associate!
